Aggies QB Johnson likely out for season with broken bone in his hand
According to ESPN, Texas A&M quarterback Max Johnson has a broken bone in his hand and could miss the remainder of the season.
The Aggies will likely turn back to Haynes King, who started the season but was benched after the loss to Appalachian State. The Aggies face a tall task against No. 1 Alabama this weekend.
Johnson was injured in last week’s loss to Mississippi State. King replaced the injured Johnson in that game and completed 6 of 13 for 49 yards and two interceptions.
The Aggies also have five star freshman quarterback Connor Weigman on the roster.
