BREAKING: Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field during Monday night’s Bills-Bengals game in Cincinnati, which has been postponed

After tackling Tee Higgins with just under six minutes remaining in the first quarter, Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field. Medical staff was immediately called to his aid, and within minutes an ambulance arrived on the field at Paycor Stadium. Players from both teams looked on with increasingly emotional responses as the situation developed. Hamlin was transported by ambulance to nearby UC Hospital, and both teams left the field of play.

After a delay of more than an hour, the decision has been made to postpone Monday Night Football. The NFL released an official statement at 9:06 p.m. CT:
