Clayton Tune, Tank Dell, other Houston Cougars visiting NFL teams ahead of draft
Several Houston Cougars football players have made the rounds visiting NFL teams ahead of the draft, which will take place exactly three weeks from Thursday.
Quarterback Clayton Tune, who started for the Cougars from 2019 to 2022, visited with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday and is also scheduled to meet with the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, and Houston Texans in the coming days and weeks, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Tune threw for over 4,000 yards, 40 touchdowns, and rushed for an additional five touchdowns for Houston in the 2022 season.
Derek Parish will reportedly attend the Texans’ local prospect day. He will be joined by former teammates Nathaniel “Tank” Dell, Art Green, KeSean Carter, Donavan Mutin, Christian Trahan, and D’Anthony Jones, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC in Houston.
Dell also has visited with the Browns, will visit with the Tennessee Titans, and worked out privately for the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills, according to Wilson. Green will also meet with the Colts and Broncos.
Former UH safety Gervarrius Owens also visited with the Texans, per Wilson.
