The Dallas Cowboys have released their inactives list for Week 15, and it includes some of Dallas’ newly acquired pieces that may not have gotten enough time to learn the playbook. They will also be getting a key starter back off IR.
The following players have been deemed inactive for today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars:
#14 LB Jabril Cox
#87 TE Jake Ferguson
#15 QB Will Grier
#16 WR T.Y. Hilton
#37 CB Trayvon Mullen
#18 WR Jalen Tolbert
T.Y. Hilton and Trayvon Mullen, who were new additions this week, are inactive likely to give them more time to study the playbook. Tight end Jake Ferguson has not cleared concussion protocol and is out for today’s game.
The Cowboys will be getting back star offensive tackle Tyron Smith off of IR and it is possible he will be lined up at right tackle in the absence of Terence Steele. Rookie Tyler Smith has been fantastic on the blindside, and it is likely the coaching staff will shift Tyron to the right side.
