Cowboys select South Carolina WR Jalen Brooks with the 244th pick in the seventh round
The Cowboys added to their wide receiver room late in the draft with South Carolina pass catcher Jalen Brooks.
Brooks finished last season with 504 receiving yards on 33 catches and a touchdown. He was one of the better receivers for the Gamecocks this past season.
At 6-2, 202 pounds, Brooks has solid vertical athleticism where he can high-point the ball and win at the catch point. He lacks elite speed, but his ability to create separation gives him a chance in camp to make the roster.
