Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears: Friday Injury Report for Week 8

The Cowboys have released their official Friday injury report and it looks as if not much has changed since Thursday. With the report more heavily populated than it has been in recent weeks, it carries plenty of concern as to who could be held out of this week’s game.

The following players are listed on the report:

Did Not Participate:

RB Ezekiel Elliott: Zeke did not practice for the third straight day, and it is looking more like he will be unavailable for Sunday’s game with a knee injury. Coaches have been shocked by how quickly he is progressing, enough so that they have felt that he could be moving too fast. Zeke is listed as DOUBTFUL for Sunday and the decision could come down to game time. Dallas will hold another practice tomorrow and reassess his situation, but as of now, it would be tough to imagine Zeke playing this week.

WR Noah Brown: Brown has not practiced all week with a foot injury and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game. Brown has had somewhat of a breakout year as a receiver.

S Malik Hooker: Hooker has not practiced this week, but it is possible that he practices in some capacity on Saturday. He is listed as QUESTIONABLE with a hamstring injury.

Limited Participants:

LB Micah Parsons: Parsons was limited in practice on Friday but will most likely practice tomorrow. He first appeared on the report yesterday with a shoulder injury and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday.

DE Sam Williams: This is an improvement from Thursday as he did not practice. Williams practiced on Friday in a limited capacity and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday with a knee injury.

TE Dalton Schultz: Schultz is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday with a knee injury. Schultz has been hobbled the last several weeks with the same injury.

OT Terence Steele: Steele’s status could be a product of being cautious. He has been limited in practice all week with a neck injury and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for this week’s game.

LB Devin Harper: Harper was again a limited participant in Friday’s practice and is listed as QUESTIONABLE. He is listed with an achilles injury.

Full Participants:

LB Damone Clark: Clark was a full participant once again in practice and does not hold an injury designation. He is expected to make his NFL debut on Sunday against the Bears. Clark has been dealing with a neck injury since being brought into the organization.

S Jayron Kearse: Kearse has been a full go all week and is expected to play on Sunday. He was listed with a foot injury.

DT Quinton Bohanna: Bohanna looks to be good to play on Sunday as he has practiced fully all week. He was listed with a shoulder injury.

DT Neville Gallimore: This is an encouraging sign for Gallimore after missing last week’s game with a wrist injury. He has practiced in full capacity all week and is expected to return this week.

DT Trysten Hill: Hill has practiced all week with a thigh injury and is expected to play.
