Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears: Wednesday Injury Report for Week 8

After an uncharacteristically healthy week for Dallas in Week 7, the injury report looks to be much fuller in Week 8. Wednesday’s injury report saw numerous players both limited and sidelined altogether in practice, including some players new to the list.

The following players are listed on the report:

Did Not Participate:

RB Ezekiel Elliott: This looks to be a developing story as Zeke was held out of practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. Reports are that Zeke’s status for Week 8 will likely be a late-week decision. It will take a “group effort” to get Zeke through the stiffness he has been experiencing in his knee.

WR Noah Brown: Brown did not participate in practice today with a foot injury. Brown reportedly worked with the rehab group before practice began on Wednesday so his status will be something to keep an eye on throughout the week.

S Malik Hooker: Hooker was held out of practice with a hamstring injury. He, along with Brown, worked with the rehab team before Wednesday’s practice and will be monitored throughout the week.

Limited Participants:

TE Dalton Schultz: Schultz was limited in practice due to the same knee injury that has lingered throughout the season. He looked to have tweaked it during last week’s game against Detroit.

OT Terence Steele: Steele was a limited participant in practice with a neck injury. He is new to the injury report and his situation will be monitored over the course of the week.

LB Devin Harper: Harper was limited with an achilles injury. The young LB has been a regular on the inactive list so far this season.

Full Participants:

LB Damone Clark: This has people in the Cowboys’ building excited as Clark was finally taken off the non-football injury (NFI) list for Wednesday’s practice. The Dallas fifth-round pick is considered by the organization as a talent that was deserving of going much higher in the draft but fell due to his neck injury.

S Jayron Kearse: Kearse finds himself back on the injury report after escaping it last week. However, he was a full go in practice on Wednesday being listed with a foot injury.

DT Quinton Bohanna: Bohanna was a full participant in practice today with a shoulder injury. He has been listed on the injury report the last couple of weeks but played in last week’s contest.

DT Neville Gallimore: Gallimore was a full participant in practice Wednesday after not playing in last week’s game. He is listed with a wrist injury.

DT Trysten Hill: Hill is a new addition to the injury report despite being a full participant. Hill is dealing with a thigh injury.
