Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday Injury Report for Week 10
Before the bye week, the Cowboys’ injury list was as populated as it has been all season. The bye allowed many of Dallas’ stars to get healthy though the injury report is not squeaky clean just yet. However, it is clear that the bye week coming in Week 9 was a blessing given the nature of these injuries.
The following players are listed on the report:
Did Not Participate:
LB Anthony Barr: Barr did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. However, this was expected by the Cowboys’ coaching staff. Barr has been a key contributor to this team’s LB core alongside Micah Parsons and Leighton Vander Esch. His injury status will be monitored throughout the week.
Limited Participants:
RB Ezekiel Elliott: Zeke was limited in practice on Wednesday after missing the Week 8 game against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury. The Cowboys held him out in Week 8 as somewhat of a precaution given how well he was moving in practice. They wanted to slow him down and make sure he did not aggravate the injury keeping him out longer. Zeke’s status for this week is optimistic, but if he is out, Tony Pollard proved the running game will be in good hands without him.
WR Noah Brown: Brown also missed the game in Week 8 due to a foot injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and will be monitored throughout the week.
S Donovan Wilson: Wilson was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday after being listed with a tooth issue. I would imagine Wilson is safe to play Sunday if the nature of his injury is just that.
Full Participants:
LB Micah Parsons: Parsons was a full go in practice on Wednesday with a shoulder injury. He was listed prior to the bye, but did not miss any time.
TE Dalton Schultz: The bye week could potentially prove to be a blessing for Schultz as he has been dealing with a knee injury for most of the season. He was a full participant and is progressively putting this injury behind him.
WR Michael Gallup: Gallup was a full participant on Wednesday and is not expected to miss time. He is listed with a chest injury.
DE Dorance Armstrong: Armstrong found himself on the injury report this week with a shoulder injury. However, he was a full go in practice indicating it is not a cause for concern.
DE Sam Williams: Williams was a full go in practice with a knee injury. The rookie edge rusher has shown signs of being a key contributor this season.
S Malik Hooker: Hooker has been on and off the injury report all season but finds himself as a full go this week. He is listed with a hamstring injury.
WR KaVontae Turpin: The key return man for the Cowboys hit the injury report for the first time on Wednesday. However, he is listed as a full participant and should not miss time. He is listed with a chest injury.
