The Cowboys have released their injury report for Wednesday’s practice, and it has trimmed down quite a bit. The illness bug that ran rampant in Dallas’ building prior to Thanksgiving has mostly cleared up though still hitting two players this week.
The following players have been listed on the report:
Did Not Participate:
CB Trevon Diggs: Diggs did not practice on Wednesday as one of the two players hit with an illness. His situation will be monitored throughout the week, but he is likely to be ready to go by Sunday.
WR Michael Gallup: Gallup is the other player hit by an illness and did not practice today. Despite not practicing, both him and Diggs have time to recover for Sunday.
Limited Participants:
DE DeMarcus Lawrence: Lawrence was limited in practice with a foot injury. He has had multiple injuries over the past several weeks but has played through all of them. He is expected to be just fine for Sunday.
LB Anthony Barr: Barr has been inactive the past couple of games, so it is encouraging to see him get some work in practice. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury and will be monitored throughout the week.
S Jayron Kearse: Kearse was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. Kearse said he is dealing with some pain still and hopes to fight through it well enough to play this weekend.
