Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Wednesday Injury Report for Week 12
The Cowboys have seemingly been hit with a spreading illness in their building and are adding players to the injury report as a result. Only one player has been ruled out for Dallas heading into the Thanksgiving game against New York, but we could see more as we move closer to kickoff.
The following players were listed on the report:
Did Not Participate:
LB Anthony Barr: Barr has not practiced all week after missing Sunday’s game in Minnesota and is officially OUT with a hamstring injury.
DT Johnathan Hankins: Hankins has not participated in practice all week with an illness that seems to have plagued the Cowboys this week. He is listed as DOUBTFUL for Thursday.
DE Tarell Basham: Basham is considered DOUBTFUL for Thursday’s game with an illness. Another defensive lineman who has taken ill.
DE Dante Fowler: Fowler has also been dealing with an illness and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Thursday.
S Donovan Wilson: Wilson was added to the injury report for the first time today as he has fallen victim to the roaming illness. He is listed as QUESTIONABLE.
Limited Participants:
LB Micah Parsons: Parsons was a limited participant for the second day in a row and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Thursday. Despite a knee/ankle injury, signs are pointing to Parsons playing.
DE DeMarcus Lawrence: Lawrence was upgraded to a limited participant for Wednesday’s practice after missing the last two days. He is listed with a foot injury as well as an illness and is considered QUESTIONABLE.
DT Osa Odighizuwa: Osa has been limited in practice all week with a knee injury and is QUESTIONABLE for Thursday.
CB Kelvin Joseph: Joseph was upgraded to limited participation in practice on Wednesday and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Thursday. He is listed with an illness.
DT Neville Gallimore: Gallimore is the second player added to the injury report today with an illness. He is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Thursday.
Full Participants:
RB Ezekiel Elliott: Zeke was upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday and is expected to play on Thanksgiving. He is listed with a knee injury.
CB Trevon Diggs: Diggs has been a full go in practice all week despite being listed with an ankle injury. He should be good for Thursday.
In wake of the illness that has swarmed the Cowboys, especially on the defensive line, Dallas elevated newly signed DE Takk McKinley from the practice squad for Thursday. McKinley was the 26th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Dallas also elevated G/T Aviante Collins for depth on the offensive line. Collins has only made one start in his NFL career, which was back in 2019 for Minnesota.
