The Cowboys have released their injury report following Wednesday’s practice, and it does not show much injury concern. Dallas held a walkthrough today, given the shortened amount of time since they played on Monday night. The injuries listed are just an estimation, but since most players participated, it can be taken as a positive sign.
The following players have been listed on the report:
Did Not Participate:
OT Jason Peters: Peters left Monday’s game early after injuring his hip and did not return. He was the only player to not participate in the walkthrough as expected and is in danger of not playing on Sunday. His role could also be in question since Tyler Biadasz is now healthy, giving the Cowboys the ability to move Peters back into an emergency role.
Limited Participants:
DE DeMarcus Lawrence: Lawrence was a limited participant in practice, as he has been for most of the season on the first practice day of the week. The Cowboys understand how important he is and want to keep him as fresh as possible. He is listed with a foot injury.
S Jayron Kearse: Kearse was the recipient of Tom Brady’s first red zone interception as a Buccaneer on Monday night; however, he did get rattled up later in the game. Kearse has played through injuries most of the season and, according to him, is not missing this game. He is listed with a knee injury.
Full Participants:
OT Tyron Smith: Smith was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, which is a great sign for the Cowboys, given their lack of depth at tackle at the moment. Smith is listed with a knee injury.
CB Trayvon Mullen: Mullen missed Monday’s game with an illness but participated fully in practice on Wednesday. He should be fine heading into Sunday though his role is unknown to this point.
S Israel Mukuamu: Mukuamu practiced fully on Wednesday after playing very well at corner in the playoff game. He should remain in a significant role come Sunday, given his level of play. He is listed with a hamstring injury.
