Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders Thursday Injury Report for Week 18
The Cowboys have released their injury report following Thursday’s practice, and little has changed from Wednesday, with one notable exception.
The following players have been listed on the report:
Did Not Participate:
C Tyler Biadasz: Nothing has changed regarding Biadasz’s ankle. He is a DNP for the second day in a row and very unlikely to play Week 18, but he does look on track for the start of the playoffs, regardless of when that is for the Cowboys.
Limited Participants:
DE DeMarcus Lawrence: Lawrence was once again limited in practice as per usual. He has been limited for the first two practices of the week before logging a full practice on the final day. He is listed with a foot injury and, barring anything unforeseen, will play on Sunday.
LB Leighton Vander Esch: LVE was once again limited in practice and continues to make progress with his neck injury. His status remains uncertain for Sunday, but the Cowboys will likely err on the side of caution and sit Vander Esch for Week 18. Barring a setback, he should be ready to go for the postseason.
Full Participants:
RB Tony Pollard: Pollard was a full go in practice for a second consecutive day after missing last week’s game with a thigh injury. Given Dallas is not planning on resting many players, Pollard should play Sunday, just 12 yards short of the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his four-year NFL career.
CB Kelvin Joseph: The tooth problem that kept Joseph out of practice on Wednesday is behind him. Joseph will play Sunday.
