Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders: Wednesday Injury Report for Week 4
The Cowboys seem to be getting closer to getting some key players back in the lineup.
The following players have been listed on the Dallas Cowboys injury report for Week 4.
Did Not Practice:
QB Dak Prescott: Dak is making progress after injuring his right thumb in Week 1. Though he had the stitches removed on Monday, he has not made a return to practice and is still likely at least a week away from returning to the field.
Limited participants:
DE DeMarcus Lawrence: The defensive star of Monday night, who recorded three sacks in the game against the Giants, was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a foot injury. According to Lawrence himself, his late exit from the game and his limited participation in practice is just a precaution, and he should be ready to go for next week.
TE Dalton Schultz: Schultz was a late scratch for Monday night’s game and was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. He has been dealing with a PCL injury but is expected to suit up next week against Washington.
S Jayron Kearse: Kearse suffered a knee injury in Week 1 against the Buccaneers but found himself as a limited participant in practice today. According to Head Coach Mike McCarthy, Kearse is slated to be a full participant in Thursday’s practice to see how he fares and could even potentially play this coming week.
G Connor McGovern: McGovern was limited today in practice after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 1.
Full participants:
WR Michael Gallup: This is phenomenal news for the Cowboys, as he was a full go at practice on Wednesday. There was some buzz around Gallup potentially playing last week but ultimately decided to sideline him. It was reportedly Gallup’s decision not to play as he did not want to risk re-injuring himself despite his fast recovery. His return is still up in the air as the Cowboys have not officially announced anything, but many are speculating that he could make an appearance this coming week. Gallup has been out since tearing his ACL last season.
WR Simi Fehoko: Fehoko was a full participant in practice despite suffering a shoulder injury in Monday night’s game.
