Former Colorado linebacker Aubrey Smith commits to UH

Former Colorado linebacker Aubrey Smith commits to UH

The Houston Cougars football team received a commitment from former Colorado Buffaloes linebacker Aubrey Smith on Tuesday afternoon.

Smith announced his decision to join the Houston Cougars on his Twitter page. In the post, he tagged UH football defensive coordinator Doug Belk.

Smith appeared in 11 games for Colorado during the 2022 season. He made eight total tackles, racked up one sack, and also forced a fumble as a freshman for the Buffaloes.

He was a four-star prospect in ESPN’s recruiting rankings coming out of high school. He is from Atlanta, Georgia, and went to Buford High School.
