Fred Faour: Wow these Astros are fun to watch – and headed to yet another World Series

The Astros are heading to the World Series for the forth time in sixth years. It sounds so easy.

It’s not.

The Astros cleaned out the Yankees in four games. They were the better team and swept the series. They have yet to lose this postseason. They are 7-0 with four wins to go.

Now? They get the surprising Phillies. The Phillies have played amazing baseball. But now the Phils get these Astros. Who knew that a three-game series at the end of the year would be a World Series preview?

The Astros have so many stars. Alex Bregman. Jeremy Pena. They have been so clutch. The Astros cleaned up even on a day Lance McCullers was not at his best.

The top six did the damage, driving in all six runs. At times this postseason it has been the bottom of the order. Not on Sunday. The best players came to play.

It was the aces in the bullpen closing it out – Abreu, Montero. Pressly.

There is so much more ahead. The Astros will be favored over yet another NL team that has gotten hot at the right moment. The Nationals? They beat the Astros. The Braves? Yep. This Astros team, however, looks different.

Let’s see where we go.
