Some Houston Texans players achieved some important personal or team landmarks in Week 18.

S Jalen Pitre: finished the season with 147 tackles and five interceptions.

• became first rookie ever to record at least 140 tackles and five interceptions
• became first rookie defensive back to record at least 140 tackles since 1970 (when tackles tracking began)
• finished season with sixth most tackles by a rookie in NFL history
• finished with second most tackles in franchise history by a rookie
• became third player since 2000 with 145+ tackles and five interceptions (Ray Lewis, BAL, 2003, Donnie Edwards, SD/LAC, 2004)

TE Jordan Akins: finished with four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns.

• recorded his second multi-touchdown game of his career
• one of only two Texans TEs to have two multi-touchdown games (Darren Fells)
• set career highs in receptions (37), yards (495), and touchdowns (5)

DL Jon Greenard: finished with three tackles, one interception, one pass defended.

• recorded first career interception, a pick-six off Sam Ehlinger
• first pick-six by a Texans player since Tavierre Thomas versus Chargers 12/26/2021

LB Christian Harris: finished with 10 tackles, one sack, one quarterback hit, two tackles for loss and one pass defended.

• first Texans rookie LB since 2017 with multiple 10+ tackle games (Zach Cunningham)

TE Teagan Quitoriano: finished with three receptions for 83 yards.

• caught career-long 52-yard reception
• 52-yard reception is the fourth longest reception by a TE in Texans history
