Gallery Sports’ Betting Picks for March 20, 2023

All right, not a huge betting card but a few plays we like:

Rockets PLUS 9.5 vs. Warriors. Yes, this is a bad Rockets team – especially on defense – against one of the best-scoring teams in the league. But the Warriors have lost three straight road games and are just 7-29 away from home this season. They probably improve that record here, but are you willing to risk they will cover 9.5? I’m not.

Colorado Avalanche/Chicago OVER 6: The Avs are not the scoring machine they were last year, but they face a Blackhawks team that is terrible at 5 on 5 and has given up on the season. The Avs could beat this by themselves, so we only need a greasy goal or two from Chicago, which only scored two in its last but had 34 shots.

LA Kings/Calgary UNDER 6: Joonas Korpisalo goes in goal for the Kings, and while he is allowing 3.01 GPG, he has a solid .912 save percentage. The stats scream over – the Kings are 15th in the league allowing 3.11 goals, and the Flames are 18th at 3.1 – but the matchup says under. Look for a low-scoring, tight game.
