Houston native Slim Thug headlines Battle Red Day on Thursday night
The Houston Texans will debut their new red helmets vs. the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football in Week 9.
The Houston Texans will present Battle Red Day on Thursday, November 3, when they host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football. The Texans will debut their new red metallic helmets designed this year.
Also, the end zones will be painted Battle Red for the first time. The lettering will be white and outlined in blue. One end zone will say, “HOUSTON,” and the other will say, “TEXANS.”
There will be exclusive Battle Red apparel at the Texans’ shop, and Battle Red apparel will be 20% off.
American rapper and native Houstonian Slim Thug will lead the fans Reppin’ H-Town on the battle drum before the game. He will also perform at halftime with DJ Michael Watts and the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Marching Band.
From the hit show, “Clash of the Cover Bands,” country music recording artist Amanda Kate Ferris will perform the National Anthem, and the United States Marine Corps will present the colors.
