Houston Texans Friday Injury Report for Week 5
An important starter returned to practice.
The Houston Texans released their Friday Injury Report for Week 5, and there were two players with status changes.
Did Not Participate:
LB Blake Cashman (concussion): Cashman is still in the protocol. He has not practiced all week. He is OUT for Sunday.
OL Austin Deculus (ankle): Deculus has not practiced in three weeks. He is OUT Sunday.
TE Brevin Jordan (ankle): Jordan also has not practiced in three weeks. He is OUT Sunday. This will be the third straight week for Jordan Akins to be called up from the practice squad, after which the Texans must sign him or release him.
WR Chris Moore (hip): Moore has not practiced all week. He is OUT for Sunday. Philip Dorsett should see more snaps and maybe Tyler Johnson will see his first action of the season.
Limited Participation:
DL Jon Greenard (ankle): Greenard had been a DNP the previous two days. He is officially QUESTIONABLE for Sunday, but is trying to be able to go.
LB Jake Hansen (ankle): Hansen was added to the injury report today for the first time. He is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday and his situation is likely to be updated over the weekend.
Full Participation:
DL Maliek Collins (knee): Collins has been navigating a knee injury all season. He will be ready to go Sunday. He has no official designation.
OL Kenyon Green (knee): He was a full participant all week. He will start Sunday.
DL Kurt Hinish (illness): Big Hiney has been a full participant two consecutive days and carries no injury designation for Sunday.
OL Tytus Howard (ankle): Howard was a full participant all week and will start Sunday.
DB Derek Stingley Jr. (elbow/shoulder): Today marked two straight full practices for Stingley. He carries no injury designation and is expected to start Sunday.
