Houston Texans Thursday Injury Report for Week 10

There were three status changes for the Houston Texans on Thursday.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

LB Neville Hewitt (hamstring): Hewitt is trending to not play this week.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

DL Maliek Collins (chest): Collins has now gotten back-to-back limited practices in. He is trending towards being available this week, and the team is optimistic he will be ready to go.

WR Nico Collins (groin): Nico was also injured in the Raiders game like Maliek. Had not practiced for two weeks like Maliek. Has gotten his second limited practice in like Maliek. Team is optimistic he can return like Maliek. However, groins can be tricky, and it would not be a surprise if Maliek is ready to go and they hold Nico back an extra week. The team is optimistic Nico will be able to go.

WR Brandin Cooks (wrist): Cooks finally got in his first practice since being excused from practice last Tuesday. All indications are he will play Sunday. Cooks spoke today about his love for his teammates, his frustration about the team not being ready to win, and more. He said he will be there for his teammates.

RB Dameon Pierce (chest/shoulder): Pierce is expected to play Sunday. He is like a piece of iron.

LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (groin): This makes consecutive practices for JRM who is trending in the right direction.

FULL PARTICIPATION

WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle): He improved from limited to full practice.

DL Jaleel Johnson (illness): He is feeling better.

OL Justin McCray (concussion): This is two straight full practices for McCray.
