Houston Texans Thursday Injury Report for Week 14

The Houston Texans listed eight players on the injury report for Wednesday, but only one has had their status upgraded.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

WR Nico Collins (foot): This injury is now concerning as Collins has yet to practice this week. It looks like the Texans will be down their top two wide receivers this week.

WR Brandin Cooks (calf): Cooks is trending to miss his second straight game with a calf injury he sustained in practice last week.

FB Troy Hairston (chest): Hairston left Sunday’s game early with this injury. He took a huge hit trying to catch a pass on a poorly executed play-action play on fourth-and-goal from the 1. He is trending to miss this week’s game.

DL Kurt Hinish (shoulder): This is back-to-back missed practices for “Big Hiney.” Defensive line is one place the Texans have some depth, but he is looking like he will not be available this week.

DB Derek Stingley Jr. (hamstring): “Sting” is looking at missing his fourth straight game.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

K Ka’imi Fairbairn (right groin): Fairbairn has managed two consecutive limited practices, which bodes well for his chances to play Sunday.

FULL PARTICIPATION:

DL Mario Addison (knee): Addison went from did not practice on Wednesday to a full participant Thursday, making Wednesday look more like a load management day than an actual injury day. He should be ready for Sunday.

LB Garret Wallow (ankle): He will be ready if the Texans make him active for the game.
