Houston Texans Thursday Injury Report for Week 17

The Houston Texans have released their injury report following Thursday’s practice, and it shows some improvement from yesterday’s walkthrough. The Texans listed eight players as opposed to six yesterday; however, the additions do not look to indicate anything serious.

The following players have been listed on the report:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

WR Brandin Cooks (personal): Cooks missed practice on Thursday due to a personal issue. He will be fine to play this weekend.

OL Jimmy Morrissey (concussion): Morrissey is the only player remaining for the Texans who is hindered by the concussion. He will likely need to log a practice in order to return to the field.

TE Teagan Quitoriano (thigh): This is the second straight day that Quitoriano has missed practice with a thigh injury.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

RB Dare Ogunbowale (knee): Ogunbowale was added to the injury report today after being limited in practice due to a knee issue. He carried the ball eight times for 28 yards in the win against Tennessee on Christmas Eve.

OL Kenyon Green (ankle): Green was a limited participant in practice with an ankle injury. The Texans are hopeful that he returns before the end of the season.

OL Justin McCray (hamstring): McCray has been limited for the second straight day with a hamstring injury.

FULL PARTICIPATION:

OL Tytus Howard (concussion): Howard was a full go in practice after being held out of yesterday’s walkthrough. This is a positive sign as he continues to recover from the concussion.

DB M.J. Stewart (concussion): Stewart was also upgraded to a full participant for Thursday’s practice after being held out with a concussion.
