Houston Texans Thursday Injury Report for Week 18
The Houston Texans added three players to the injury report for Thursday.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE:
OL Jimmy Morrissey (concussion): Morrissey has not practiced or played since suffering a concussion in Week 16. He is still in the protocol.
DB Steven Nelson (illness): This is the second straight day Nelson was unavailable due to illness. Friday’s report could go a long way to determining if he has a chance to play Sunday.
DL Ogbonnia Okoronkwo (illness): Okoronkwo has played his best football since Week 13. If he can recover from illness, he will be available Sunday.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION:
WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring): This is not a good injury for a wide receiver. We have seen several Texans players this season suffer midweek injuries and then be out multiple weeks. This is an injury to watch, considering the Texans are already without Nico Collins in the wide receiver room.
TE O.J. Howard (hip): Another new injury. Howard got a good amount of blocking reps last week with Teagan Quitoriano out. If Quitoriano is healthy enough to play, Howard would likely be inactive, whether he is healthy or not.
FULL PARTICIPATION:
TE Teagan Quitoriano (thigh): This is Quitoriano’s second straight full practice and he appears ready to play Sunday. Coaches have been high on him as a blocker and receiver, and if he can go, he will at least be TE2.
