Houston Texans Thursday Injury Report for Week 8

There were two status changes from Wednesday.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

OL AJ Cann (illness): The good news is that it isn’t an injury-related issue for the Texans starting RG. He is expected back to practice as soon as he overcomes his illness.

DL Maliek Collins (chest): Collins has now missed back-to-back practices after suffering a chest injury in Week 7 when CB Steven Nelson crashed into him trying to deliver a big hit. His status is not trending well for Sunday.

WR Nico Collins (groin): Collins has also missed back to back practices and the signing of WR Tyron Johnson was really foreshadowing of Collins status. Expect him to be unavailable this week.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

OL Justin McCray (hand): This is McCray’s second limited practice this week. He is likely to be available in a backup role for Sunday.

FULL PARTICIPATION:

OL Kenyon Green (shoulder): A full practice for the rookie LG is a very positive sign for him to start Sunday.
