Houston Texans Tuesday Injury Report for Week 16

The Houston Texans listed nine players on their first injury report of the week.

Houston did not have a full practice on Tuesday; they only held a walkthrough. Therefore, this injury report is an estimation of what a player’s participation would have been if there was actually a full practice.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

WR Nico Collins (foot): Collins has missed the last two games with this injury and did not practice at all last week.

OL Kenyon Green (ankle): Green was inactive this past week due to this injury. Head coach Lovie Smith said Monday that since Green is not on IR, he expects green to return to the lineup at some point before the end of the season, but did not indicate he thought it would be this week.

DL Ogbonnia Okoronkwo (illness)

OL Laremy Tunsil (illness)

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

WR Brandin Cooks (calf): Cooks finally returned to practice last week on Friday as a limited participant but was inactive last week.

OL Justin McCray (hamstring): McCray was active last week but did not play, indicating his presence was emergency use only.

WR Chris Moore (foot): Moore logged the most offensive snaps last week of any non-lineman. His loss would be devastating for a team already down its top two receivers.

FULL PARTICIPATION:

LB Christian Kirksey (elbow): Kirksey should be fine to play this week.

DB Steven Nelson (foot/knee): Nelson was injured Week 14 in Dallas and left the game. He has not practiced since. He was out last week against Kansas City. Being a full participant would be a big move for him in the right direction.
