Mahomes able to return to start second half
After limping off the field with just under two minutes left in the first half as a result of a tackle around the ankles by Philadelphia Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards that appeared to aggravate the high ankle sprain to his injured right ankle, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was able to return to the field to start the second half.
In the opening drive of the half, Mahomes engineered a 10-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to pull the Chiefs within three at 24-21.
