With Super Bowl 57 in Glendale, Arizona just two and a half weeks away, details surrounding musical performances and officiating are beginning to emerge. The game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Country music star Chris Stapleton will perform the national anthem. Stapleton is an eight-time Grammy Award winner with 15 CMA awards and 10 Academy of Country Music awards. Stapleton was named CMA Male Vocalist of the Year for a record sixth time.

Also part of the pregame show airing on FOX are Babyface, who will sing “America the Beautiful.” Babyface has produced and written 125 Top 10 hits, 44 No. 1 R&B hits and 16 No. 1 pop hits.

Sheryl Lee Ralph will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The Golden Globe nominee, Critics Choice Winner, Tony Award nominee, NAACP Image Award nominee and Independent Spirit Award winner is currently starring in the ABC comedy series “Abbott Elementary.”

The Super Bowl halftime show is being performed by Rihanna, which the NFL announced Sept. 25, 2022.

Referee Carl Cheffers will work his third Super Bowl next month when he takes the field in Glendale, Ariz. The NFL announced the officiating crew for Super Bowl 57 on Tuesday.

Cheffers’ first stint in the big game came in Super Bowl 51 in Houston, with the New England Patriots overcoming a 25-point deficit to post a 34-28 overtime victory against the Atlanta Falcons.

He also worked Super Bowl 45 in Tampa, with the Buccaneers breezing to a 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Joining Cheffers for the game on Feb. 12 are umpire Roy Ellison, down judge Jerod Phillips, line judge Jeff Bergman, field judge John Jenkins, side judge Eugene Hall, back judge Dino Paganelli and replay official Mark Butterworth.
