NBA suspends Jalen Green, Jae’Sean Tate for Sunday’s game
The NBA has suspended Jalen Green and Jae’Sean Tate for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after they were found to have left the bench area during Friday’s on-court altercation between Garrison Mathews and Malik Monk.
Green leads the Rockets in scoring and is one of three players to appear in all 42 games this season. An ankle injury has limited Tate to just seven games, but with Kevin Porter Jr. doubtful to play due to a left foot contusion, the Rockets backcourt depth will be tested on Sunday as Green, Porter, Tate, and Eric Gordon have split the majority of the Rockets guard minutes over the last four games.
The NBA fined Mathews $35,000.
