New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers: Friday Injury Report for Week 3

TGIF! TGIAGD! Thank God it’s almost game day for the acronym impaired. The Saints are heading into their matchup with the Panthers. Here’s how Friday’s injury report looks:

Position Name (injury, Friday practice status, game status):

CB Paulson Adebo (ankle, limited, questionable)

RB Alvin Kamara (rib, limited, questionable)

T Ryan Ramczyk (elbow, limited, questionable)

WR Tre’Quan Smith (shoulder, full, playing)

TE Taysom Hill (rib, limited, questionable)

S Marcus Maye (rib, limited, questionable)

QB Jameis Winston (back, limited, questionable)

FB Adam Prentice (shoulder, full, playing)

WR Deonte Harty (foot, full, playing)

CB Alontae Taylor (knee, DNP, out)

Smith, Prentice, and Harty are all full go for the game. Adebo, Kamara, Ramczyk, Hill, Maye, and Winston are all game-time decisions. They’ll all most likely play. The only way they won’t is if one of them doesn’t feel quite right in pregame warm-ups. The same thing happened to Kamara last week. He didn’t feel quite right, and they sat him. Taylor’s knee must’ve gotten worse for him not to play this week. Expect Winston to play for sure. Indications are that there is no risk of further injury. Kamara and Ramczyk are the ones to truly watch. They’re both critical to the offense’s success outside of Winston. Guys are looking healthy headed into the week three matchup against the Panthers.
