Panthers acquire No. 1 overall pick in NFL Draft from Bears
The Carolina Panthers have reportedly acquired the top overall pick in this year’s NFL draft from the Chicago Bears, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The package that the Bears received in return for the pick reportedly includes wide receiver D.J. Moore, the No. 9 pick, the No. 61 pick, a first-round pick in 2024, and a second-round pick in 2025.
The Panthers likely made the move to ensure they get the young quarterback of their choice. This class is stacked at that position, with four players potentially going in the top 10. Alabama’s Bryce Young, Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Florida’s Anthony Richardson, and Kentucky’s Will Levis are all in play for the top pick.
