Saints transactions/injury report: Week 2

The Saints put out their initial injury report ahead of their second consecutive division game. Here are the guys listed on the initial report:

Cameron Jordan (hip, limited practice)

Alvin Kamara (rib, limited practice)

Marcus Maye (ankle, limited practice)

Jameis Winston (back, limited practice)

Landon Young (hip, limited practice)

Mark Ingram (ankle, limited practice)

Calvin Throckmorton (illness, limited practice)

Alontae Taylor (hip, limited)

Paulson Adebo (ankle, did not practice)

The team also had a couple of practice squad additions this week. Running back Latavius Murray was brought back. Murray was a Saint in the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He adds to the depth chart at running back with Kamara nursing a rib injury. Saints great Pat Swilling’s son Tre Swilling was also signed to the practice squad. The former Brother Martin High School standout is back home in a full circle moment. He’s another body in the defensive backfield that will add to the depth at an already swamped position.
