Tavierre Thomas among four players added to Texans active roster for Week 9

The Houston Texans announced multiple roster moves Thursday ahead of their Week 9 game with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

Houston has activated from the injured list DB Tavierre Thomas and TE Teagan Quitoriano.

Thomas, 26, is a special teams ace with sub-4.4 speed who had a game-clinching pick six against the Chargers in Week 16, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Quitoriano, 22, was the Texans’ fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Oregon State. He started 30 games for the Beavers in his collegiate career, totaling 40 receptions for 512 yards and six touchdowns.

The team has also elevated two players from the practice squad to the active roster, in WR Jalen Camp and OL KC McDermott.

DB Grayland Arnold has been placed on IR. He will miss a minimum of four weeks.
