Texans add Bryant to Practice Squad

On Monday, the Houston Texans announced they signed DL Brandin Bryant to their practice squad.

Bryant, 29, has spent parts of the past four seasons in the NFL. He has also spent two seasons in the Canadian Football League.

The 6-2, 305-pound defensive tackle was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2016 by the Seattle Seahawks out of Florida Atlantic. He has also spent time with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills. In limited action over 10 games across four seasons, Bryant has nine career tackles, and one QB hit.

In a corresponding move, the Texans released DL Derick Roberson from the practice squad. Roberson, 26, played his college ball locally at Sam Houston State.
