Texans add DB D’Angelo Ross
Tuesday, the Houston Texans announced they signed DB D’Angelo Ross to their practice squad.
Ross, 26, originally signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2019 out of New Mexico. At his New Mexico pro day, the 5-9 190 lb. cornerback ran a 4.32 40-yard dash.
He spent three seasons in the Patriots organization, finally reaching the active roster in 2021. Last season he played in three games for New England, including one start, and recorded three tackles.
Ross began 2022 with the Miami Dolphins. He was waived/injured on Aug. 29 and placed on injured reserve. He was released Sep. 1.
