Texans add one, release one from practice squad

The Texans exchanged defensive backs on their practice squad Tuesday.

Tuesday, the Houston Texans announced they signed DB CJ Moore to the practice squad, and released DB BoPete Keyes from the practice squad.

Moore, 26, is in his third season out of Ole Miss. He was originally signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2019. He played all 16 games for the Lions as a rookie, as a special teamer primarily. He recorded 7 tackles that season. In 2022, he was placed on injured reserve by the Lions and released on September 5. He is the identical twin brother of Titans DB AJ Moore.

Keyes, 24, is in his third season out of Tulane. He was a 7th round pick in 2020 by the Kansas City Chiefs. He signed with the Texans practice squad September 13.
