Texans bringing back WR Camp
The wide receiver has been a part of the Texans’ organization for the past two seasons.
On Thursday, the Houston Texans announced they signed wide receiver Jalen Camp to a reserve/future contract.
Camp, 24, was originally a sixth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was waived by the Jaguars at the end of training camp in 2021 and signed with the Texans practice squad four days later.
Camp made his NFL debut with the Texans in Week 16 of last year against the Los Angeles Chargers, and his first career reception came this season in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Along with defensive lineman Demone Harris, who signed a reserve/future deal with Houston Wednesday, Camp’s deal brings the total number of players on reserve/future contracts by the Texans to nine.
