Texans elevate DBs Francis, Redmond to active roster
For the second consecutive week, the Houston Texans will add a pair of defensive backs in advance of the week’s game.
Saturday, the Houston Texans announced they were elevating CB Cobi Francis and S Will Redmond to the active roster from the practice squad.
Both players participated on special teams in Week 11 versus Washington, with Francis logging 30% of special teams snaps and Redmond 26%. Redmond also had an impressive special teams tackle.
This will be the second elevation for each player. Teams may elevate a player from the practice squad a maximum of three times before signing them to the active roster for the rest of the season or releasing them.
