Texans rule DL Hinish out for Week 3
He was previously listed as questionable due to a foot injury.
On Saturday, the Houston Texans announced that DL Kurt Hinish had been downgraded to OUT for Sunday’s game against the Bears in Chicago. Hinish is battling a foot injury.
Hinish, 23, was undrafted out of Notre Dame this year and originally buried on the depth chart. However, he impressed coaches and teammates with his play in training camp and preseason and earned a spot on the 53-man roster.
Hinish played 26 defensive snaps (36%) and five special teams snaps (19%) last week vs. the Broncos, making two tackles and a tackle for loss.
