Texans rule DL Jon Greenard out for Week 5
Greenard returned to practice on a limited basis Friday.
Saturday, the Houston Texans announced that DL Jon Greenard would not travel with the team to Jacksonville and has been downgraded to OUT for their Week 5 game against the Jaguars.
Greenard missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but returned to practice Friday on a limited basis. The team made the decision Saturday afternoon to deactivate him. Greenard is battling an ankle injury.
